'Rearrange All the Cosmos' by Paris-based visual artist João Delfim is a limited-edition artist book that pays tribute to two works of art released a century apart—Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray and Mark Christopher’s 1998 film 54 starring Ryan Phillippe.

Both works were censored for their homoerotic themes, yet traces of queer desire still shine through, untouched and undeniable. João celebrates this resilience by weaving collages, original artwork, and even an interview with Mark Christopher into a book that feels both archival and deeply personal.

Alongside the book, we had the chance to sit down and talk with João about his creative process and inspirations — read the full interview on our Journal here.
