Shipping policy


Local Delivery (Downtown Toronto, by appointment only)

  • Free local delivery is available for orders over 50 CAD (before tax) within the Downtown Toronto area. If your shipping address is eligible, the local delivery option is displayed on the checkout page.
  • Our dedicated staff will personally deliver your order between Monday and Friday (excluding holidays) by appointment only. Once your order is placed, we will promptly contact you via email to arrange a convenient delivery appointment.

Note: If you pay using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal, then the local delivery option isn't available. Please choose Shop Pay or Credit Cards Payment if you wish to choose the Local Delivery option.

 Order Processing

  • We ship from Toronto, Canada.
  • All orders are processed within 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 
  • Packages shipped within Canada and the US automatically include tracking and insurance(Note: If you choose Canada Post, your shipment is eligible for liability coverage up to 100 CAD ONLY. If your order total proceeds more than 100 CAD we strongly recommend choosing a private carrier service such as UPS, FedEx, Purolator, or DHL).
  • Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination of the items in the order and carrier service
  • Successfully placed orders will receive an e-mail confirmation with the order details. If you do not receive an e-mail, please check your spam filter or contact us for confirmation.
  • If you need any assistance with your order, please contact us immediately at info@10books10colors.com. We will not be able to make changes to your order after it has shipped.

 Delivery Timing

  • Estimated delivery times and their associated shipping rates are generated in real-time by the websites of Canada Post, UPS, Purorater, FedEx, DHL, or an alternate chosen carrier during the checkout process. All orders are shipped out according to each customer's selection.
  • From time-to-time deliveries can become delayed due to circumstances beyond our control. Customers outside of Canada must be aware of potential customs delays in the receiving country.

Note: The transit times are approximate and not always guaranteed due to operational challenges/weather, etc. We are not responsible for shipping carrier delays.

Shipping to the US/International Shipping

  • Customs/Duties: Packages shipped outside of Canada may be charged import duties and/or customs fees; these fees are determined by customs officials and are not included in the shipping cost. Customers are responsible for any applicable charges. We operate legally and comply with international shipping regulations. As such, orders will be listed at their full current retail price on any/all customs declaration documentation. If you refuse to pay those taxes, the package will be sent back to us. We will then refund you the amount of the order, after having withdrawn the shipping cost at the actual rate that we have been charged by the carrier and the shipping cost of the return of the package to us.
  • 10 BOOKS 10 COLORS is shipping within Canada & the US only at this time. If you wish to send an order outside of Canada and the US address please contact us at info@10books10colors.com for further assistance.

Shipping to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

We are unable to ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses at this time.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
