General

  • We do not have a physical store at this time.
  • We are located in Toronto, Canada and planning for a limited pop-up store and collaborating with a retail store or gallery in the future. Please contact us if you are interested in collaboration with us.

Yes, they are actual photos. The books we send to customers are the exact same ones in the pictures on our pages.

We strive to be as detailed as possible when describing our products. We are happy to provide additional information and/or pictures upon request by email at info@10books10colors.com

Please keep in mind we specialize in 2 category of art books.

1. New books: Brand new or in like-new condition without the original plastic seal. These books are typically obtained directly from publishers and artists.

2. Vintage/Rare books: Pre-owned and out-of-print books which can range from “Fine” to “Fair” condition. The guide is as follows:

Fine: Almost like new, with no defects

Very Good: Some signs of wear, but no tears or major damage

Good: Noticeable wear, but all pages intact, to be noted in the description or photos

Fair: Well-worn, with visible wear and possible damage, to be noted in the description or photos

Shipping and Return

10 BOOKS 10 COLORS is shipping within Canada & the US only at this time. If you wish to send an order outside of Canada and the US address please contact us at info@10books10colors.com for further assistance.

  • Free local delivery is available for orders over 45 CAD (before tax) within the Downtown Toronto area. If your shipping address is eligible, the local delivery option is displayed on the checkout page.
  • Our dedicated staff will personally deliver your order between Monday and Friday (excluding holidays) by appointment only. Once your order is placed, we will promptly contact you via email to arrange a convenient delivery appointment.

Note: If you pay using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal, then the local delivery option isn't available. Please choose Shop Pay or Credit Cards Payment if you wish to choose the Local Delivery option.

  • All orders are processed within 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. We make every effort to fulfill orders as quickly as possible.
  • You will receive another notification email with tracking when your order has shipped. 
  • We ship order from Toronto, Canada.

Shipping to Canada

  • You can choose from Canada Post, UPS, and Purolator for your favorite delivery speed and shipping rates.
  • Packages shipped within Canada automatically include tracking and insurance(Note: If you choose Canada Post, your shipment is eligible for liability coverage up to 100 CAD ONLY. If your order total proceeds more than 100 CAD we strongly recommend choosing a private carrier service such as UPS, Purolator).
  • Estimated delivery times and their associated shipping rates are generated in real-time by the websites of Canada Post, UPS, Purorater or an alternate chosen carrier during the checkout process. All orders are shipped out according to each customer's selection.

Shipping to the US

  • You can choose from Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, and DHL for your favorite delivery speed and shipping rates(Note: If you choose Canada Post, your shipment is eligible for liability coverage up to 100 CAD ONLY. If your order total proceeds more than 100 CAD we strongly recommend choosing a private carrier service such as UPS, Purolator).
  • Packages shipped within the US automatically include tracking and insurance(Note: If you choose Canada Post, your shipment is eligible for liability coverage up to 100 CAD ONLY. If your order total proceeds more than 100 CAD we strongly recommend choosing a private carrier service such as UPS, FedEx, or DHL).
  • Estimated delivery times and their associated shipping rates are generated in real-time by the websites of Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, DHL, or an alternate chosen carrier during the checkout process. All orders are shipped out according to each customer's selection.

Note: The transit times are approximate and not always guaranteed due to operational challenges/weather, etc. We are not responsible for shipping carrier delays.

  • Packages shipped outside of Canada may be charged import duties and/or customs fees; these fees are determined by customs officials and are not included in the shipping cost.
  • Customers are responsible for any applicable charges. We operate legally and comply with international shipping regulations. As such, orders will be listed at their full current retail price on any/all customs declaration documentation. If you refuse to pay those taxes, the package will be sent back to us. We will then refund you the amount of the order, after having withdrawn the shipping cost at the actual rate that we have been charged by the carrier and the shipping cost of the return of the package to us.

  • Books purchased online are returnable within 7 days ONLY if our online description differs substantially from the actual condition of the item upon arrival.
  • You must contact us BEFORE initiating any return. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please read our full description for each item and if you have any questions at all, please ask them before placing your order.

We don’t store any of your payment information ourselves and everything is securely handled via Shopify, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or the other payment services we offer.
