Refund policy

 

10 BOOKS 10 COLORS is committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with each of your purchases. All items offered are listed with the most accurate descriptions and photos possible.

Returns

  • Books purchased online are returnable within 7 days ONLY if our online description differs substantially from the actual condition of the item upon arrival.
  • You must contact us BEFORE initiating any return. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please read our full description for each item and if you have any questions at all, please ask them before placing your order.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Damage

Please inspect your order upon reception. In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us immediately at info@10books10colors.com with your order number and a detailed photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Lost items

All products purchased from the website are transported and delivered to you by an independent carrier not affiliated with, or controlled by 10 BOOKS 10 COLORS. We do not accept liability for lost items but will always try to help resolve the situation where possible. You can contact us at info@10books10colors.com.

EU Return & Right of Withdrawal Policy

This policy applies to customers in the European Union (EU). If you're shopping from outside the EU, our standard Refund Policy applies instead.

Your 14-day right to cancel

If you live in the EU, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.

The 14 days start on the day you (or someone you nominate, other than the delivery carrier) receive the books. If your order arrives in several shipments, the 14 days start when you receive the last item.

You don't need a reason. You can simply change your mind.

How to cancel

You can cancel in either of these ways:

  • Use the withdrawal function on our website. Look for the "Return and Cancellation" link, available in the footer of every page and on your order page. You'll confirm your request in a second step, and we'll email you a receipt confirming we got it.
  • Or contact us directly by email at [info@10books10colors.com] with a clear statement that you're cancelling. You can use the simple form at the bottom of this page, but you don't have to.

We'll send you a confirmation by email as soon as we receive your cancellation.

Sending the books back

After you tell us you're cancelling, please send the books back to us within 14 days.

  • You pay the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a tracked service, since we can't refund items that don't reach us.
  • Please keep the books in the same condition you received them. You're welcome to open the package and look at a book the way you would in a shop — but if the books come back damaged or worn beyond that, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value.

Your refund

Once you cancel, we'll refund you within 14 days.

  • We refund the full price of the books plus the standard delivery cost you originally paid. (If you chose a faster or more expensive delivery option, we refund only up to the cost of our cheapest standard delivery.)
  • We use the same payment method you used to order, unless you agree otherwise. There are no fees for the refund.
  • We may wait to issue your refund until we've received the books back, or until you show us proof that you've sent them — whichever comes first.

Damaged or faulty books

Your 14-day right to cancel is separate from your rights if something arrives damaged or faulty.

If your order arrives damaged, please email us right away at [info@10books10colors.com] with your order number and a clear photo of the item. We'll work with you toward a fair solution, and in these cases you won't be left out of pocket for return costs.

Lost items

Your books are delivered by an independent carrier. While we can't accept liability for items lost in transit, we'll always do our best to help resolve the situation — just contact us at [info@10books10colors.com].

A few things this doesn't cover

The 14-day cancellation right doesn't apply to certain products under EU law — for example, items made or personalised specially for you, or sealed items that can't be returned for hygiene reasons once opened. Most of our books are fully covered, but if an item is an exception we'll say so on its product page.
