The Shy Guy is a yearly fanzine that celebrates nude male portraits in a playful and tender way, using the unique Eroscope format.
Created in 2020 by fashion editor Benoît Bethume and illustrator Claire Detallante, the project reimagines masculinity by mixing honesty, vulnerability, and a modern sensibility.
This issue features 12 models who embody the familiar “boy next door” spirit—approachable, relatable, and real. Alongside the zine, The Shy Guy also extends its world through artisanal objects and collaborations that reflect its mood and style.
