Using a second-hand film camera, young Canadian photographer Connor Dobbin documents his friends, family, and surroundings in "Skorched." This collection features a mix of original and found images, blending striking portraits with scenes from the automotive parts factory where he works. Largely self-taught, Dobbin's unique analog style creates a dreamlike series of images. "Skorched" explores identity, relationships, and popular culture in a raw and unfiltered way.

Dobbin’s developed a significant body of work and has published a book – Fantastic Misery, as well as an ongoing zine series entitled Friendly Fiends.  Skorched is his second book.
