A sensual and intimate collection of photographs of young matadors, raised in a closed culture of old-world Latin tradition. Ruven Afanador's evocative photography celebrates the beauty and tradition of young matadors, capturing the essence of Latin culture with grace and elegance.

Torero was Ruven Afandor's first published book in 2001 by Stemmle Publishers in Zurich and the book has long been an out-of-print, hard-to-find collector's item. This Second limited edition of the book was published on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of Afandor's exhibit at Throckmorton Fine Art, New York in 2021.
