Japanese artist Fuyuki Kanai uses drawings, comics, and writing to explore his thoughts on identity, sexuality, relationships, and community. This small book was made for his 2022 solo show 'The prayer that takes a long time to be heard (ゆっくりと届く祈り)' at Shibuya PARCO in Tokyo.

Through personal stories and quiet illustrations, he reflects on the struggles many people face around individuality and belonging in today’s world. The book includes short stories and drawings inspired by his own experiences.
