Aldo Fallai is best known for photographing Giorgio Armani’s early campaigns from the late 1970s through the 1990s. But Almost One Year shows a different side of his work.

Created in 1992, this book is a visual diary of his travels through Italy and Morocco. There are no commercial images here—only personal photographs that reflect his own artistic world. Through light, shadow, and careful detail, Fallai captures men and women with a quiet sensuality, sometimes recalling the balance and strength of classical Greek and Roman sculpture.

The printing quality is exceptional, and the book feels considered and mature—an intimate look at a photographer beyond fashion.
