GOLDEN is the first self-published monograph by Los Angeles–based photographer Scott West, bringing together photographs made between 2018 and 2025.

Shot entirely on black-and-white film, the book captures youth, sensuality, and the landscapes of California through images that feel timeless, intimate, and quietly romantic. Inspired by photographers such as Bruce Weber, Herbert List, and George Platt Lynes, West creates a deeply personal body of work shaped by years of photographing, editing, and bookmaking.

Beautifully printed in Italy, this substantial volume reflects West's thoughtful approach to both photography and the photobook as a medium.
