'Sugar and Grapefruit / Salt and Watermelon' is a collection of works by Taiwanese manga artist and illustrator Gao Yan. The book contains illustrations presented at solo exhibitions held in Taiwan, Tokyo, and Kyoto in 2022.
In May 2022, she published her first manga book in Japan, "Green Song - Collection Gunpu -" (KADOKAWA). She has also illustrated Haruki Murakami's essay books, and is an artist who has attracted attention for her lyrical style and powerful expressiveness.
