Belgian artist Peter De Potter is one of the most influential image-makers of his generation. Known for his long collaboration with Raf Simons and later for creating the artwork for Kanye West's The Life of Pablo, his work moves effortlessly between photography, collage, graphic design, publishing, and contemporary art.

Published by IDEA in 2017, All Statues Sing Protest Songs is his second artist book and one of his most sought-after publications. Created in a limited edition of 500 copies, the book reflects on youth culture at a moment when the internet had become inseparable from everyday life.

Rather than documenting a generation, De Potter builds a visual language from fragments—photographs, collage, typography, and graphic interventions. The images carry a sense of urgency, but also hope. As the artist explains, each page was made to stand on its own, "like a pocket pamphlet," combining the energy of protest with moments of reflection.

Part artist book, part visual manifesto, All Statues Sing Protest Songs remains one of the defining publications in Peter De Potter's body of work and an essential title for collectors interested in contemporary visual culture, fashion, and independent publishing.
